Hi Mel,
I am from Toronto, Canada and presently watching your 2010 Elections coverage.
When Mike Enriquez announced that your coverage will be just like what is done at CNN (use of the Hologram and all), I said: “Wow!” And now that I am watching it, “Wow” is what I must say. You live up to what you say. I commend you and Mike for your work and the whole GMA Network for this election coverage. You made a very drastic change and it worked to your advantage.
This is a historic election for the Philippines, and the Filipino people should be commended because they gave this elections a chance to improve. Though there were flaws and glitches, I must say that it was worth all the effort. The country can not forever be doing manual counting…the Philippines has to move and change with the times.
This election is not perfect, but the experience will open doors for improvement and eventually perfection.
Again, my congratulations and more power to you.
